When I bought my first digital camera in 2008 right before a trip to Costa Rica, I didn’t realize it, but I was about to discover my love for photography.

I was able to go to this beautiful country and capture images that told a story and helped me bring home visual memories that could last a lifetime.

I stopped taking photos from about 2013 to 2023, but a couple years ago, I got another digital camera. It wasn’t as much of a photography camera as a content creation camera. I started making videos and creating content, and now my life has changed because of that.

And recently I bought a more expensive digital camera with a lens. I started using it, and I instantly remembered how much I love to create art with photos and videos.

When I’m around people, out in the world, capturing moments with my camera, and turning those into memories that people can cherish forever, that is my zone of genius.

That’s what gives me energy in life. I thrive off human connection and creating moments for people.
